UPSC Releases Merit List for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Courses

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the merit list for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) courses. A total of 538 candidates have qualified for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of NDA for the 150th course and Naval Academy for the 112th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC).

The results are based on the written examination held on September 04, 2022, and the subsequent interviews conducted by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence.

Candidates who have made it to the merit list can check the websites of the Ministry of Defence for detailed information on the commencement of the courses. The websites are www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, www.joinindiannavy.gov.in, and www.careerindianairforce.cdac.in.

The NDA is a joint services academy of the Indian Armed Forces where cadets from the three services, Army, Navy, and Air Force, undergo training together before going on to pre-commissioning training in their respective service academies. The Naval Academy, on the other hand, provides a four-year degree course in Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in various disciplines.

The NDA and NA courses are highly prestigious and attract a large number of aspirants every year. The selection process is rigorous and demanding, requiring candidates to undergo multiple stages of testing and evaluation.

The candidature of all the candidates is provisional, subject to their submitting the requisite certificates in support of date of birth and educational qualifications etc. claimed by them directly to the Additional Directorate General of Recruiting, Adjutant General’s Branch, Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence (Army), West Block No. III, Wing–I, R.K Puram, New Delhi -110066 wherever this has not already been done, and NOT to UPSC.

In case, there is any change of address, the candidates are advised to promptly intimate directly to the Army Headquarters at the address given above.

The result is also available on the UPSC website at https://www.upsc.gov.inHowever, marks of the candidates will be available on the website after 15 days from the date of declaration of final results.
