CBSE Board Exams For Classes 10, 12 Begin Today

Share

On Wednesday, CBSE Board exams for classes 10 and 12 commenced in various locations throughout the country. This year’s exams mark an important milestone for the students, as they represent a crucial step in their academic journey. Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, students have been encouraged to adhere to strict safety measures during the exams, including wearing masks and maintaining social distancing.

The CBSE has implemented several measures to ensure that the exams are conducted smoothly and without any glitches. Students have been advised to remain calm and focused during their exams, and to take breaks when necessary to maintain their concentration. The exams are scheduled to run for several days, during which students will be tested on a variety of subjects, including English, math, science, and social studies.

According to a press release from the CBSE, the date sheets for both class X and XII exams for the year 2023 were published, with the exams starting at 10.30 am. The Class 10 board exams will end on March 21, while the exams for Class 12 will end on April 5. Additionally, the board has ensured a sufficient gap between two exam papers this year.

To ensure that no two papers of a student fall on the same date, the CBSE has carefully prepared the date sheets, avoiding nearly 40,000 subject combinations. The board issued the date sheets well in advance to help students prepare well for the exams. With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the board has also instructed students to follow strict safety protocols during the exams, including wearing masks and maintaining social distancing.
