Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the last date for fresh admissions and re-registration for its July 2024 session to September 20. The extension is being applicable for all programmes offered in ODL and online mode, except semester and certificate programmes.

IGNOU announced this in the official post through X: “Re-registration for July 2023 session is further extended upto 25th September, 2023 with late fee of ₹200/-. This will be one more opportunity for the students to get themselves admitted in different undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certificate programmes for the Academic session. This is the second extension given by the university as the last date was September 10.

For this, students can log in to the official websites of the university, onlinerr.ignou.ac.in. The re-registration portal allows students who are already enrolled and want to take a readmission to the next semester/year.

Documents to be Kept Ready for Admission:

Listed below are the documents that a student has to keep ready before seeking fresh admission:

-Scanned passport-size photograph
-Scanned signature (less than 100 KB)
-Scanned copies of educational qualification documents
-Scanned copy of the experience certificate, if any

The IGNOU has also opened registration for TEE for December 2024. The eligible candidates can submit their examination forms for online and ODL programmes through the official website of the varsity.
