In yet another bid at redefining education, IIM Sambalpur forges a new path in revolutionizing the learning experience by introducing artificial intelligence in classrooms. The institute announced the implementation of artificial intelligence in classrooms as a part of the institute’s 10th Foundation Day.
“We are excited to introduce AI-enabled teaching in our classrooms that will change the way our students learn and relate with study material,” said Director Prof. Mahadeo Jaiswal. Starting with just 49 MBA students in 2015, IIM Sambalpur has evolved into a full-fledged institution with 320 students. “We have established world-class infrastructure and supported more than 60 start-ups through our incubation center while fostering international collaborations,” added Jaiswal.
The institute is ready for further growth through three Centers of Excellence opening this year and a more diversified MBA program, aimed in alignment with the National Education Policy. That will bring international accreditations and expand the campus scope.
Along with the above initiatives, IIM Sambalpur is going to host Women’s Empowerment Summit in February, because of the vision set up for the country Viksit Bharat, or Developed India.
The same occasion of the Foundation Day also saw the commencement of the second iteration of the Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp that began on September 23 to 27. Under this initiative of the Ministry of Education, AICTE, and the Innovation Cell in the Ministry of Education, students are given a significant focus on developing innovation, design thinking, and entrepreneurship competencies across the country.
IIM Sambalpur will utilize its vision-oriented direction as a milestone to be ahead in academic innovation and groom students for tomorrow.
