MICAT 2025 Registration Opens; Exam Dates Announced

Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad (MICA) had released the MICAT 2025 application registration that is now open to aspiring candidates for online registration on a simple application form submitted at the official website mica.ac.in.
MICAT 2025 will be conducted in two batches. The first batch of the test is scheduled on December 7, 2024. The second batch is scheduled for January 25, 2025. These tests allow admissions for the 2024-2026 batch of the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and PGDM in Communication (PGDM-C).
Candidates applying for registration are scheduled for phase one on November 22, 2024. Phase two will commence on November 25, and January 11, 2025 is set as a date of closure. Applicant need to pay an application fee of ₹2,100.
Admit cards for phase one will be downloaded from 4th December, while that of phase two will start on January 22, 2025. To download the admit card, a candidate is to have a combination of login credentials that includes a registration number and password.
The admission criteria to MICA are broad-based, and the selection is done based on various parameters: 20 percent weightage goes to the scores of CAT, XAT, or the GMAT exams; 30 percent weightage has been given to the MICAT exam itself; 20 percent weightage is given to the group discussion; and the remaining 30 percent is based on the personal interview.
MICAT will be a two hours and forty-five minutes test with a penalty of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. It is, therefore, bound to emerge as an affordable avenue of access to millions of aspirants to management institutes. Over 48 cities in India would see the test being held twice a year.
Registration is already open. And the student must emerge adequately prepared to take on this all-important step towards communicating his aspirations and possibly turning communication into management.
