The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), has issued the date sheets for the Secondary (Class 10) and Senior Secondary (Class 12) exams scheduled for the October-November 2024 session. The examinations are going to commence from October 22, 2024 for Indian as well as overseas students, and the detailed schedule is given on the website of NIOS.

The Class 10 students will begin their exams on the first day with Carnatic Sangeet and Employability Skills and end up with the Hindustani Sangeet paper on November 29. The Class 12 students will have their first examination begin with Veda Adhyayan, Early Childhood Care and Education, and Employability Skills on October 22, with Economics as the last exam on November 29.

The duration for each exam is three hours. Indian students will have their time at 2:30 PM while overseas candidates will have their time at 3:00 PM. The institute clarified that the exam schedule will not change. However, hall tickets may get published online at – sdmis.nios.ac.in shortly.
NIOS students have also been informed that they can expect the results almost a week after the end of the exams.

The NIOS examinations reach across a wider level of students across India and abroad, thereby providing flexibility for learners outside the traditional school-going system.
