Krea University hosted its second annual TEDx event on the theme of ‘From Contradiction to Collaboration’ on 14 September 2024 on its campus at Sri City. Embracing contradictions is a way to innovation and progress. Speaking about it, the seven speakers from diverse fields narrated how contradictory opinions come together in creating inclusive solutions and holistic progress.

The event focused on how embracing contradictions can help one achieve progress, happiness, and innovation through collaborations.

The speakers also included TS Tirumurti, former Ambassador of India to the United Nations, who discussed how to navigate contradictions through a world. Vivek Krishnani of MovieVerse Studios talked about technology and the synergy between the two to narrate a story through film. Barsha Banerjee, the Managing Director of Perkins India, discussed inclusive education for children with disabilities. Deepa Sathiaram, one of India’s top 15 Nature’s Keepers, was presenting eco-solutions inspired by environmental challenges.

The famous Pad Woman of Odisha, Anushree Dash, spoke on social taboos related to health and dignity. Dharmarajan S, the founder of Impactsure Technologies, exemplified how AI can be a collaborative partner. Sapan Jain, the CEO and Founder of Blubirch, proved how well culture was aligned with technology to develop sustainability in the environment.

The exciting discussions on how embracing contradictions leads to innovation and progress presented great prospects for future collaborations and creative solutions.
