College Board Announces August SAT Exam Date; Registration Open till August 9 with Late Registration Options Available

SAT 2024: The application process for the SAT Exams to be conducted on 24 August is open for candidates until 9 August. The last date to make changes, regular cancellation and late registration is until 13 August.
The College Board will administer the SAT for the August session on August 24, 2024. It is a long test that has invariably played a significant role in undergraduate admissions into most of the prestigious colleges and universities, particularly in the United States of America and Canada.
Registration for the August SAT is already ongoing, whereby test-takers secure space to sit for the test. Contestants who desire to undertake the test that falls on August 24 are advised to get registered not later than August 9, 2024. Contestants need to ensure that this date is their last date to be relevant in the test.
A window for regular registration changes will be open until August 13, 2024. During this time period, candidates can cancel their registration or late-register if they miss the regular registration deadline. It is during the late registration period that interested students are allowed a final chance to be enrolled for the test, although this involves an additional set of requirements and increased fees.
The registration fee for SAT is US$ 68. The registration fee includes the test fee. Other services or changes would be added at a later time of registration with extra charges. Students need to complete their registration as earlier as possible to avoid last-minute complications and added costs.
