UPSC Prelims 2024 Results Announced

The UPSC exam aspirants who qualify the cutoff of prelims will appear for the Main exam.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the Civil Services Preliminary examination results for 2024. Candidates can check their results on the official websites upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in. Those aspirants who clear the exam will appear for the Main Exam, however as per Indian Express the Commision had previously notified that there are 1,506 vacancies for CSE post and 150 for IFoS, this year.
The process requires the shortlisted candidates to apply again in the detailed application form-I (DAF-I) for the mains exam. The Commission alerted that dates and instructions for filling the DAF-I and its submission will be announced soon.
The aspirants who clear the Main exam will be asked to appear for a personality test (interview) to be selected for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and additional posts under Grade A and B for the central government and its departments.
