The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM) Jabalpur organized a Walkathon and Cleanliness Drive towards Swachhata Hi Seva 2024. ‘Swabhav Swachhata- Sanskaar Swachhata’ is the theme, which symbolizes biocide of physical cleanliness as well as of values in our lives.

Thus, the students, faculties, and staff members walking along the walkathon event were a symbol of commitment to make their surroundings clean. Along with this walk, they went on a cleanliness drive to beautify the campus and other areas. And as the event itself, it aimed at bringing out awareness to understand both environmental hygiene and personal ethics in bringing in a cleaner healthier society.

Therefore, IIITDM Jabalpur renewed its commitment to the abled Swachh Bharat initiative by emphasizing the efforts toward making a cleaner India, firstly by adopting cleaner habits and then using public spaces responsibly. This event itself was a huge movement toward instilling cleanliness and civic sense among the population.

The campaign, under the aegis of hashtags #SwabhavSwachhata, #SanskaarSwachhata, #SHS2024 and #CleanIndia, keeps evoking Indians to take active participation in cleaning up the nation – thought as well as action.
