In another significant move to try and keep up with the new challenges in manufacturing, Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur has launched the postgraduate program with a specialization in Leadership in Smart Manufacturing, PGPEX-LSM. This program has been developed along with the prestigious RWTH Aachen University, Germany, and is a one of its kind to cover senior professionals necessary to be geared up towards opportunities and success in the Industry 4.0 era.

Program Highlights

PGPEX-LSM will be a one-year, full-time, residential course commencing from January 2025. It will be designed to develop experienced engineers into able leaders through the infusion of rigorous academic coursework with practical insights from the best in the industry. Application Process

The application is ongoing, and further, information on eligibility, the closing date for applications, and other details is available on the IIM Sirmaur website. The minimum level of eligibility for potential candidates to apply is B.Tech. with at least 60% marks and possession of at least five years of work experience. Besides, valid GMAT, GRE, or CAT scores conducted in the last five years are mandatory for the applicants.

Therefore, the admission process screens first based on the criteria given above and then an aptitude test for the candidates who do not meet the criteria given. The admission test for this year is scheduled for August 24, 2024 and interviews be held at their office from August 31 – September 1, 2024 .
