Universities in Delhi, including Jawaharlal Nehru University and Delhi University, will revamp their academic calendars as admissions to undergraduate courses have been delayed. According to Vice Chancellor Anu Singh Lather, the fortnight’s delay can easily be made up with extra classes.

It would be proper to mention here that institutions like JNU, Jamia Millia Islamia, and IP University either accept CUET scores for some courses or have their own entrance system in place; on the other hand, DU and Ambedkar University rely only on the CUET scores for admission to the UG and PG courses.The motive behind changing the academic calendars at JNU, DU, and other universities in Delhi is to provide complete and comprehensive education to students amid the delay in UG admissions. The delay in the academic calendar is causing stress among the teachers and even the students at JNU.
