A candlelight march on a big scale took place protesting against the atrocities on Hindus and temples in Bangladesh and the rape of a lady doctor in Kolkata. Large numbers of members from societies like JM Florence Society, Panchatattva, Samriddhi, and Royal Nest joined in.

They collectively demanded justice and security for the Hindu community in Bangladesh as well as the doctor in Kolkata. Eminent people from JM Florence Society, namely Narayan Gupta, Awadh Rai, Kamaldheer, Manish Jha, Dharmendra Pandey, Pulkit, Priyanka, Aakansha, Payal, Savitri, Deepika, Mamta, and Poonam, along with members from Samriddhi-Greece Shukla Ji, from Panchatattva, Akhilesh and Ashok, from Royal Nest Society, took up the leading roles in the march.
