SBI Opens Applications for Youth for India Fellowship 2024

The State Bank of India has invited applications for the 12th edition of its premier scheme, the Youth for India Fellowship. The 13-month program intends to train fresh graduates, young professionals, and SBI staff to work with rural communities at large in the country in collaboration with 13 reputed NGOs.

This includes overseas citizens of India, citizens of Nepal and Bhutan, or confirmed SBI staff members in Scale I or II. They should be between 21 and 32 years as on October 7, 2024. The application process closes on September 17, 2024.

The selected fellows will join on October 5, 2024, and report to Tilonia, Kishangarh, Rajasthan. The fellowship spans 12 thematic areas, including health, rural livelihood, food security, environmental protection, education, water, technology, and women empowerment, among others.

SBI Youth for India Fellowship addresses the motive of creating social change by empowering young individuals to rise as active participants in bringing a difference within rural development processes. Hence, the selected candidates will interact with local communities, applying their skills to respond to identified crucial issues and thereby promoting sustainable development.
