GATE 2025: Application Correction Window Extended to Nov 10

IIT Roorkee Extends GATE 2025 Application Correction Window. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE 2025 aspirants now have till 10 November to apply corrections through the official GATE 2025 website- https://gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Initially, it was set to close on 6 November, giving the applicants extra time to get their application details correctly placed in their application.
The GATE 2025 has the fee for application different on various categories. In general, female as well as SC/ST or PwD candidates holds the amount of the application fee, which stands to be ₹900. However, foreign candidates have to pay application fee of ₹1800. It accepted late submissions till October 7. Late submission was available for only those candidates who were not able to submit applications within the original deadline that had fallen on or before October 3. Female, SC, ST, and PwD applicants were charged ₹1400, and all other applicants had to pay ₹2300 as registration fee.
The IIT Roorkee is conducting GATE 2025 examination as computer-based tests (CBT) mode in the month of February 2025. A date was set for an exam held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, respectively. As designed by GATE for aptitude and knowledge purposes in order to assess graduation of candidates in engineering or science fields, the scores attained here serve an important purpose regarding the intake in postgraduation programs along with providing entry into certain public undertakings working in the sectors of India. Moreover, GATE scores are accepted worldwide through many foreign universities, making the test even more relevant to all the global levels.
As part of the preparation exercise, IIT Roorkee has also provided links of mock tests on its site so that students can acclimatize themselves before appearing for the CBT format of the examination. Mock tests give a flavor of the computer-based interface and simulate the actual ambience of the exam hence help the students get accustomed with the digital format.
GATE 2025 admit cards would be available in January, about two or three weeks prior to the date of examination. Application correction window is available now, and this offers applicants the opportunity to correct any errors or inaccuracies within their submission and ensure all their details are updated, so they are better prepared for this high-stakes test. Applicants are advised to continue updating themselves with all pertinent updates on the official GATE website as the dates approach so that they don’t miss any crucial deadlines or information.
