IIM Bangalore Launches Executive Management Program in Pune

The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore has announced its 71st cohort of the Executive General Management Programme (EGMP) in Pune. This exclusive programme is designed for mid-career working professionals from Pune and surrounding cities to acquire advanced education in management without leaving their current location.

It is for nearly 10 months and covers quite heavy course work besides offering flexibility in learning. This course is integrated with the combination of classes conducted at IIM Bangalore and Pune and online modules, living sessions. It will not only help save travel costs and accommodation charges but will not compromise on the quality education offered to the participant like IIM Bangalore is considered to deliver. The program is robust in the scope of management coverage, and it will be suitable for people moving towards more senior management position.

The registration for the program is open until 7th October and the course is going to start from 4th November, 2024. All interested persons can register on the IIM Bangalore website under “EGMP Pune”. The program is open to working professionals with a minimum of five years of industry experience and with a graduation degree.

On successful completion of the programme, participants would be conferred the status of IIM Bangalore Executive Education Programme Alumni by which they can tap into the elite alumni network at the global level.

Pune houses many manufacturing units of repute, IT companies and GCCs as well as the armed forces; however, working professionals in this region do not have access to quality management programs from globally accepted B-Schools. With this launch, IIM Bangalore looks at bringing world-class management education to working executives in Pune for giving them opportunities to enhance their leadership skills and to accelerate their career success,” said S. Parthasarathy, Chief Programme Officer, Executive Education Programmes.
