JMI Opens Spot Round Admissions for UG, PG & Diploma Courses

The Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has declared the spot round of admissions in various undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate programmes. The registration of the spurt round starts from 6th November and will close by 7th November. Students can apply from the official JMI website by filling the online application form. In this spurt round, students will get admission in various streams if they are eligible.
The students will be compiled merit list, keeping in mind the merit of the candidates, which will feature a list of selected students on November 8. Shortlisted students are expected to complete admission procedures-including document verification and fee submission-by November 11. The official notification put across by JMI stresses that no further applications or requests for consideration shall be entertained after this date.

It has also conducted the entrance examination for students interested in taking up the Bachelor of Education (BEd) course on 3 November. The results of the said examination are going to be released on 10 November, and selected candidates for the BEd programme are required to complete all forms with admission formalities, particularly document verification and fee submission, on or before 15 November.
This backdoor round provides an opportunity for the students who could not make it through previous deadlines to get into JMI for the current academic year. With programs of various types, students are free to choose their area of interest and study for potential meaningful fields that could be stepping stones in their career trajectory. Registration, according to the official notification of JMI, is completed in time as no addition or exemption would be entertained once the window closes.
