Southampton University Delhi Campus: Apply Now for 2025 Intake

University of Southampton is one of the top universities in the Russell Group of the UK. University of Southampton has opened admissions for the new campus in Gurugram, Delhi. This campus marks a watershed moment in history, for Southampton is the world’s first international university to have been licensed under the National Education Policy of the Indian Government to operate a fully-built campus in India. All applications can be made on southampton.ac.uk/in and the deadline for Round 1 is 29 November 2024.
The application fee for the first round is Rs 5,000 and admission results are expected to be intimated mid-January 2025. Further admissions rounds will then be open for enrollments in the August 2025 intake. Information on scholarships and accommodation will also be communicated soon to support broad access to student groups aiming to access world-class education from within India.
The University of Southampton Delhi campus will offer undergraduate and postgraduate programs, exactly as in the UK. The curriculum, assessments, and degree will also be the same; even the degree certificates issued at the campus will be the same.
The benefits to students with such an international qualification are that there would be no distinction in their degree.

The new campus is being developed in collaboration with Oxford International Education Group (OIEG), which will also support admissions and enrollment services. The project marks a benchmark for Southampton’s efforts to take quality international education directly to the doorstep of Indian students, to further enhance academic excellence in the country.

Through the establishment of the Gurugram campus, Indian students will get to enjoy an elite education that is as good as offered in a UK institution but without relocation, a new benchmark set internationally for academic partnerships within India. This partnership has enabled students in India across all levels to experience world class education that carries enormous value and prospects in future engagements and career challenges in other parts of the world.
