The Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the deadline for fresh admissions for July 2024 sessions, both through online and ODL mode till September 30, 2024. It is the third deadline extension during the running admission cycle and has been extended from a first deadline of September 10 and then on to a date of September 20.

Candidates can now submit applications for undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate courses on the official IGNOU portal: onlinerr.ignou.ac.in.

Applications will be accepted only after the respective candidates upload the following documents:

Scanned passport-size photograph (less than 100KB)
Scanned signature
Scanned copies of required educational qualifications
Experience certificate is optional

In advance of the new semester or academic term, currently enrolled students who would require to re-register may submit their applications through re-registration on the IGNOU website.

Admission deadline extended by IGNOU: The protracted timeline of registration allows a student more time to enroll in one of the programs offered, further enhancing the flexibility and accessibility of learning.
