Lt Governor Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena Inaugurated the community hall at Kharkhari Nahar village, Nazafgarh. The building has been renovated by DDA.

A mobile dental van services was flagged off by the LG for the villages. According to Prof (Dr) Mahesh Verma, Vice Chancellor, GGSIPU, the van will provide door to door services on Friday and Saturday in different villages. The mobile van concept has been supported by GGSIPU and Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences.

An exhibition showcasing the 22 projects were displayed. Saplings were distributed and Drone Didi programme was also inaugurated.

The event was organised under ‘Dilli Gramoday Abhiyan’ that aims to establish and enhance essential infrastructure in urbanised villages. It also aims to focus on scientific livestock management, livelihood initiatives, healthcare facilities, water management, and efficient land use, among other goals.

Smt Kamaljeet Sherawat, MP of South West Delhi was also present. Subhashish Panda, VC, DDA, A K Singh, Principal Secretary, Environment, Manish Kr Gupta, Principal Secretary, Revenue, and several other officials were present on the occasion.
