India is looking forward to some upbeat news on the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) front. Ever since, people have been waiting for the announcement of the long-awaited CBSE Datesheet 2025 for the class 10 and 12 exams. Just after its release, the exam dates will be announced on the official websites- cbse.gov.in and cbse.nic.in-for the students who are going to appear for the exams. The board has not released the date and time of the datesheet; however, the board examinations will begin from February 15, 2025, just like which was mentioned previously when the board’s results were declared for the year 2024.
For the 2025 CBSE exams, student candidates have to meet some requirements related to attendance. A minimum attendance of 75% is to be achieved to be eligible to sit for the exams. Such a law indicates that attending classes regularly during the academic year is not just considered appropriate but compulsory.
The practical exams along with Internal Assessments, IA of Class 10 and 12 students shall be conducted from January 1, 2025. However, the winter-bound schools already have practical exams in progress, which would conclude by December 5, 2024.
It is estimated that nearly 44 lakh students will appear for the board exams in the coming next academic year 2025. These exams will be conducted by CBSE in more than 8,000 schools in India and 26 countries abroad. The vast spread of the examinations speaks to the huge size of the board exams that CBSE carries out every year; hence huge logistical planning and support.
As the datesheet announcement is near, students and parents have to keep themselves updated only from authentic channels of CBSE and avoid rumor mills for the unverified sources. The final datesheet by CBSE would be a guiding light for students to organize their studies and then plan the revision accordingly for the forthcoming exams.
