IIT Roorkee Extends GATE 2025 Edit Deadline, Mock Tests Live

The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee is conducting the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2025. The institute declared an extension to the deadline of the application correction facility. Candidates who have submitted their applications for GATE 2025 can now carry out necessary corrections in their applications. All applicants who have wish to make corrections can visit the official website for GATE 2025, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The procedures completed as given on the official website before the application forms are submitted must be strictly followed so that it meets all the criteria.
The application fee for the GATE 2025 also varies according to the candidate category. The female candidates, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category candidates are required to pay Rs 900, whereas other candidates, including foreign nationals, have to pay Rs 1800. This differential fee structure goes to encourage further participation of a wider group of applicants.
IIT Roorkee issued a statement where it was claimed that admit cards for GATE 2025 would be released in January. For the four dates of the CBT, these will be February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. GATE is one of the most esteemed assessments conducted by India for judging the knowledge of those candidates pursuing undergraduate degrees largely aiming for postgraduate admissions and job placements in any of the fields like engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, arts, and humanities.
Before the examination takes place, IIT Roorkee has made public mock tests for GATE 2025 that will provide the aspirants with exposure to the computer-based test format. They are also available through the official GATE website. The applicant can click on the name or code of their respective test papers, which will open the link to the mock test in a new tab or window. These mock tests are simulated testing, which would give the candidates a feel for the real GATE exam environment so that they get comfortable with the online interface and the nature of questions that may appear in the real exam. GATE is well known for its overall analysis of applicants’ knowledge base of various subjects at undergraduate level and is a major influencer in the admissions processes of postgraduate courses at IITs and IISc, besides many other elite institutions, besides also being accepted as merit for recruitment in various PSUs.
Candidates appearing for GATE 2025 are advised to avail these facilities not only to ensure application error-free but also benefit from mock tests conceived by IIT Roorkee.
