The long awaited merit list for the 2025 National Eligibility cum Entrance Test has been released by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). Postgraduate students are covered under the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, particularly for 50% of the All India Quota (AIQ) seats. MD, MS, and other programs cover postgraduate candidates. Through degree, DNB, DrNB (direct six-year), and NBEMS diploma programs, Postgraduate Studies (NEET-PG) offers chances for people in India wishing to advance their medical education. With more than 242,000 participants taking the NEET-PG 2025 result over India, it was the largest single-shift postgraduate medical examination ever undertaken in the country. NBEMS issued the minimum qualifying scores as well as the results. The 50th percentile was the minimum score for General and EWS candidates; this is the minimum. Twenty-six points make up a possible 800. With a 45th percentile threshold or 255 points in the General PwBD category, applicants in the SC, ST, and OBC categories (including PwBD) were eligible. This development signifies a significant point in the NEET-PG admission process. Candidates might concentrate with more clarity on the MCC’s counseling schedule since their places on the AIQ merit list are now guaranteed. Registration, fee payment, choice filling, seat allocation, and reporting to assigned schools will all be part of the counseling, which will be conducted remotely. In order to reflect the changing seat matrix and candidate preferences, the structured process is expected to go over several phases. 

As the merit list is published, attention now shifts to the countdown toward seat selection and counseling enrollment. NEET-PG 2025 applicants are presently in the most important point in their education.
