The Haryana Board of School Education (BSEH) now requires all people who took the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) in 2025 to do a fingerprint scan before they get their scores. According to the formal announcement, if people do not finish the fingerprint scan in the given time, their scores will not be shared.
The Board has shared when the fingerprint scans will happen, along with where they will take place and a list of people by district. The fingerprinting will be done on August 25 and 26 in 2026. Students who took the test can find the list of people, where to go, and other details on the BSEH website at bseh.org.in.
This action is to make sure things are fair and prevent cheating during the test. The fingerprint scan will be done in all 22 areas of Haryana at special places. Each person must go to the place they are told to go, and only those whose names are on the list from the Board need to do this. The Board also said they will send texts and emails to these people on the phone numbers and email addresses they used when they signed up.
For people who do not live in Haryana, they can get their fingerprints scanned at the main office in a district near where they live. But, if needed, people can get their fingerprints scanned at any of the places set up in the 22 areas of the state.
To finish, people need to bring the paper they got when they signed up for the HTET test and a valid photo ID. The Board said that getting fingerprints scanned is needed, and without it, people will not get their test scores no matter what.
The HTET 2025 test happened on July 30 and 31 at 673 places in Haryana. More than four lakh people were expected to take the test, which you need to pass to become a teacher in the state’s schools. The test had three levels: Level 3 (for teachers with a master’s degree), Level 2 (for teachers with a bachelor’s degree and training), and Level 1 (for elementary school teachers). The Level 3 test was on July 30 from 3 pm to 5:30 pm, while the Level 2 and Level 1 tests were on July 31. The Level 2 test was in the morning from 10 am to 12:30 pm, and the Level 1 test was in the afternoon from 3 pm to 5:30 pm.
The HTET exam is a key test to check if people can become teachers in Haryana schools. The Board of School Education, Haryana, runs it each year, and it shows who is able to teach in elementary, middle, and high schools. Because so many people take it yearly, the Board has lately done more to make the process more trustworthy. One way they have done this is by using fingerprint scans before announcing the results, which helps to make sure things are fair and stops people from cheating or lying about who they are.
So, people whose names are on the list for fingerprint checks should carefully look at their information on the official website and go to the right place on the dates they are told. The Board has warned that they will not let anyone skip this step, and if you do not go to the check, they will not announce your results, no matter how well you did on the test.
People are happy that fingerprint checks have been added, as it will make the HTET results more trustworthy. It should make things easier after the test and add another way to make sure that the people taking it are who they say they are. By matching the checks with online records and making sure people are at the right places in person, the Board wants to keep the teacher test honest.
The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test is still a very important way for people to become teachers in public and private schools in the state. Because so many people took the test this year, it is even more important to check everyone’s identity. The results will only be announced after this is all done, so that only those who have been checked are able to move forward.
As people get ready to finish their checks on August 25 and 26, they should remember to bring all the things they need and do what the Board tells them. The HTET 2025 results are expected to come out soon after the fingerprint process is over, which will be the last thing that happens in this year’s test process.
