Amidst increasing excitement across the country, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is gearing up to issue the admit card for the IBPS Probationary Officer Preliminary Examination 2025 shortly. Candidates are encouraged to frequently visit the official IBPS website in mid-August, as the hall ticket is anticipated to be available soon. The Pre-Examination Training (PET) admit card has already been released, marking a major advancement for candidates from specific categories.
Individuals who received the PET call letter from August 11 to 16 participated in the online training designed for SC, ST, OBC, and minority candidates. With that phase concluded, the focus now shifts completely to the preliminary examination.
The IBPS PO Prelims will take place on multiple dates—August 17, 23, and 24, 2025—with various shifts arranged to accommodate the large number of applicants. Soon, candidates will be able to log in using their registration number and password or date of birth to retrieve their individual hall tickets. This admit card will contain all necessary exam details: roll number, photograph, information about the examination center, reporting time, shift timings, and essential instructions for exam day.
Once the admit card is made available, candidates should download it and retain printed copies since digital formats will not be accepted at the examination venues. Bringing a valid photo ID along with the physical hall ticket will be compulsory. Aspirants are urged to check all personal and exam-related information on the admit card and quickly notify IBPS authorities of any mistakes.
The issuance of the preliminary admit card also signals the impending mains stage. The IBPS PO Main Exam 2025 is scheduled for October 12. After the prelims and mains are completed, the recruitment process will advance to interviews or personality assessments, likely to occur between November and January. Candidates who perform well may receive provisional allotments by early 2026, wrapping up the selection procedure that commenced with registration opening in early July.
Looking at the recruitment timeline provides a clear understanding. The application notification was released in late June, followed by the registration opening on July 1 and closing at the end of the month. Candidates had a chance to request corrections in early August before moving on to the PET and preliminary stages. Now, as the release of the admit card draws near, the process enters a vital implementation phase.
For candidates, the weeks leading up to the exam underscore the significance of final preparatory routines. While the admit card is a crucial document, it also serves as a reminder to perform last-minute checks concerning exam center logistics, travel plans, and overall readiness for the examination experience. Given the high stakes, aspirants are recommended to pack permissible items only, arrive well before their allotted start time, and maintain both mental and physical preparedness as they approach the examination venues.
All attention is directed towards the IBPS website, eagerly awaiting the release of the pre-exam ticket. This document not only facilitates entry into the exam hall but also represents a significant milestone in the demanding, multi-step journey towards becoming a Probationary Officer. As that moment approaches, thousands are preparing—equipped with admit cards, IDs, and determination—to progress in their banking careers.
