Delhi University (DU) has issued the date sheet for the semester exams that are scheduled to be conducted from December 12 to December 29, 2025. The exams will be held in two shifts of the day. The morning shift will begin at 9:30 am and will end at 12:30 pm. This is for both regular students and open learning program students for parts 1, 3, and 5 semesters.
For pre-empting any confusion at the last minute, students are advised to very carefully look at the date sheet available on the DU official website and mark the dates on calendars. The university has even reminded the students to prepare well in advance for smooth participation in exams.

DU Placement Drive Begins
DU has already launched its placement drive for the 2024-25 academic session. It has been going on since December 4 and will be concluding by December 5. The placement and internship drive is going on at the conference center opposite the Botany Department at Gate Number 4.

The event seeks to present students with a platform for securing job placements and internships with leading companies. A large number of recruiters is expected to attend the placement drive, with positions open across different sectors.

SRCC Makes Record Placements
Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) Delhi University has closed the placement season for 2023-24 with excellent success. In all, over 135 companies participated and offered more than 500 positions in 15 diverse sectors like consulting, finance, startups, tax and advisory, FMCG, insurance, among others.

SRCC has recorded a 29% increase in the number of recruiters this year. The highest package offered was an impressive ₹35 lakh per annum, while the average package stood at ₹8.63 lakh per annum. The median package was ₹7.15 lakh per annum, reflecting the robust placement trends at the college.

The total gross value of placements this year was ₹43.42 crore. The average Cost to Company (CTC) for the top 10% of students was ₹19.62 lakh per annum, while it was ₹17.01 lakh per annum for the top 20%, and ₹15.06 lakh per annum for the top 30%.
Placement activities will be held at the same time as semester exams in the Delhi University to ensure the development of both academic and professional excellence skills in students.
