JMI Opens PhD Applications for 2024-25: Apply by Oct 30

Jamia Millia Islamia, or just JMI, has opened its online application window for applying for admission to its PhD courses for the academic year of 2024-25. Candidates who aspire to take up the doctoral program can apply online from October 10 to October 30 through the official website, admission.jmi.ac.in.
The announcement regarding the entrance test schedule will be published on the official website. The applicants are advised to keep track of the official website for the announcement of exam dates.

In other news, the University Grants Commission has introduced another initiative through which every year, starting from next year, it will honor ten young researchers with ‘PhD Excellence Citations’ for outstanding research. These citations will appreciate exceptional doctoral work in five categories: Sciences, including Agricultural and Medical Sciences; Engineering and Technology; Social Sciences including Education and Humanities; Indian Languages, and Commerce and Management.
The initiative, as brought forth by UGC Chairman M. Jagadesh Kumar, is a step toward putting our spotlight on great PhD works coming from these varied fields.
