State Bank of India (SBI) has released the SBI Clerk Preliminary Examination 2025 admit card officially. In addition to the admit card, the candidates can also obtain the self-declaration form and the “Acquaint Yourself” booklet on the bank’s official portal. Candidates who applied successfully for SBI Clerk Recruitment can download their admit card using their password and registration number.

To get the hall ticket, the candidates need to go to the official website of SBI and log in using their credentials at the IBPS Clerk login portal. The admit card is a very important document that should be taken to the examination center as it has the vital information regarding the date, time, and venue of the exam. The SBI Clerk Preliminary Examination will be held in an online manner and is to start on February 22, 2025, and end on March 1, 2025. The particular date and center of each candidate will be indicated in their respective call letters.

The preliminary examination has a systematic pattern and comprises 100 objective-type questions separated into three main sections. One mark will be awarded for each correct response, and 0.25 marks will be cut for each wrong answer. The entire exam will last 60 minutes, with sectional time limits. There will be 20 minutes per section for the Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability sections, both of which have 35 questions. The English Language section will have 30 questions to be solved within the same 20-minute time limit.

SBI conducts this test to hire Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) for its different branches in the country. Thousands of hopefuls apply for these posts each year, so the competition is extremely fierce. Candidates who clear the preliminary test will go on to the main test, which will be held later as part of the hiring process.

The process of downloading the admit card is easy, but the candidates have to make sure they do everything step by step. They will have to go to the career page on the official SBI portal (sbi.co.in/web/careers) and look for the ‘RECRUITMENT OF JUNIOR ASSOCIATES (CUSTOMER SUPPORT & SALES)’ section. After finding the correct link for the call letter, they should click on it, submit their credentials, and download the admit card. It is advised to check all details on the admit card thoroughly, including the name, registration number, exam date, and venue, to avoid any last-minute confusion.

It is also important that the candidates bring valid proof of identification, e.g., an Aadhaar card, PAN card, or passport, along with the admit card to the examination hall. They should also follow all instructions mentioned in the self-declaration form and the “Acquaint Yourself” booklet. These documents have some key guidelines on the examination procedure, such as guidelines on what is allowed inside the exam hall, COVID-19 precautions (if any), and other important instructions.

SBI Clerk exam is one of the most desired banking exams of India and numerous aspirants show interest in applying for it. Since the admit card is available now, download it and go for the last preparations. Now, as the date of exam draws near, candidates need to thoroughly revise their syllabus and practice time management to do justice to every section in the given time limit.

As the preliminary exam is a screening test, candidates have to obtain above the cutoff in order to appear for the mains examination. The selection will be done based on the marks secured in the preliminary and main examinations, followed by a language test if required.
