Runaya, NIT Raipur Boost Women’s STEM Journey

India Runaya proclaimed a strategic cooperation with the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur on July 18, 2025 in order to advance gender equality and educate the next generation of women engineers. Formal commencement of the Runaya Reach Scholarship Program with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding. This all-encompassing initiative helps women in STEM by means of scholarships, mentorship, and internships. Ramtekker, Dean of Planning and Development; and Dr. S. Gupta, Dean of Academics. Chosen female engineering students from NIT Raipur often engage with the company as part of a multimodal plan offering more than only money support. This covers internships at Runaya’s state-of-the-art facilities as well as mentorship from experienced experts. By developing their technical proficiency and self-assurance, the curriculum equips students for the always evolving needs of the engineering and manufacturing sectors. During the signing ceremony, Dr. Manoj Kumar Chopkar said thank you for Runaya’s upbeat attitude. Routray says the course aims to “promote equality, spark interest, and lay the groundwork for a more inclusive STEM environment. ” Many engineering students find it difficult to fulfill the expectations of actual employment because of the continued gap between academics and business. The syllabus directly tackles this problem.
