Ashish Gupta, a Marketing leader with over two decades of experience across education, retail, and consumer marketing, has launched EdNex Global. The international education consulting firm enters the market with an outcome-led counselling model that links study abroad decisions to long-term career outcomes, employability, and return on investment.
Ashish Gupta’s work over the years has included building and managing student recruitment and marketing operations in India, with exposure to both domestic counselling teams and international university partners. This experience has shaped EdNex Global’s focus on clearer guidance, realistic expectations, and longer-term planning around study abroad decisions.
In the current study abroad landscape, counselling is often centred on securing admissions. EdNex Global is taking a different approach, with its services focused on course relevance, post-study work options, and how education choices translate into careers over time.
Commenting on the launch, Ashish Gupta, Co-Founder and CEO, EdNex Global, said, “Study abroad decisions have lasting financial and professional consequences, yet counselling has often remained transactional. Our approach begins with understanding where a student wants to be several years down the line and then mapping education choices that realistically support that outcome.”
EdNex Global’s counselling framework incorporates ROI-based evaluation of courses and destinations, realistic assessment of visa success and post-study work options, and guidance grounded in industry demand and employability trends. The firm will offer end-to-end support covering counselling, admissions, documentation, and visa processes.
The company will work with universities across key study destinations including Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, New Zealand, parts of Europe, and the Middle East. Internal quality controls and standardised counselling processes form an important part of how EdNex Global operates, alongside defined ethical guidelines for student advisory. These are intended to bring greater consistency to counselling outcomes while still allowing room for individual student circumstances.
Technology is being used to support this model rather than replace human counselling. EdNex Global has invested in CRM-led lead management and data-backed counsellor allocation to improve response times and coordination, while keeping the advisory process personalised.
As the business scales, the company plans to expand its presence across select Indian cities and add to its counselling and documentation teams over the coming year.
