What: Freshworks STS Software Academy (FSSA) is a social impact initiative powered by Freshworks for students from low-income families who are unable to afford a conventional college education but have the right motivation, and aptitude to learn software skills & have a strong desire to start their career in technology.

Why: The 2-year zero cost program is specifically designed to ensure these students get placed at Freshworks or other leading MNCs after their education. Students are provided with all relevant study material (books and laptop), a monthly stipend of INR 10,000 and three meals a day to ease their financial load. Communication and life skills coaching is also provided as part of the curated curriculum for overall professional development.

How: Students can submit their applications via the Freshworks STS Academy website after which an online entrance exam FSAT (Freshworks Software Aptitude Test) will be conducted. Selected students will then participate in a video and in-person interview to assess their logical abilities. The interview results will then be announced revealing the final list of shortlisted candidates.
