Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s much-anticipated annual interaction event, Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2025, is scheduled to take place on February 10 at 11 a.m. This year’s edition promises to be bigger, more impactful, and filled with engaging sessions aimed at helping students, parents, and teachers tackle exam stress and personal challenges. With an impressive lineup of experts from diverse fields, the event aims to offer invaluable guidance on exam preparation, mental well-being, and holistic development.
The session will be telecasted on Doordarshan, Swayam, Swayam Prabha, and the official YouTube channels of PMO and the Ministry of Education. It is sure to reach the masses across the country. PM Modi will be accompanied by a galaxy of personalities who will motivate and guide the students. There are actors Deepika Padukone, Vikrant Massey, and Bhumi Pednekar; spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev; Olympic medal winner Mary Kom; Paralympian Avani Lekhara; nutrition expert Rujuta Diwekar; and fitness coach Sonali Sabharwal. The list also includes a digital influencer, Gaurav Chaudhary, also known as Technical Guruji; entrepreneur Radhika Gupta; and food influencer Revant Himatsingka, who goes by the name FoodPharmer.
The focal aspect of PPC 2025 is the presence of 36 selected students drawn from different backgrounds such as State and UT Board Government schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Sainik Schools, Eklavya Model Residential Schools, CBSE, and Navodaya Vidyalayas. Among these students are PRERANA school programme alumni and national competition winners, including Kala Utsav and Veer Gatha. They will represent India’s large student body with its diversity in education and culture, direct contact with the Prime Minister.
One of the key attractions of this year’s event is eight thematic episodes focusing on essential aspects of students’ physical and mental well-being. Every episode will be crafted to engage and motivate students in a balanced approach to their academic life. These include sports, discipline, mental health, nutrition, technology, finance, creativity, and mindfulness. All will be addressed by experts who bring experience and inspiration to the fore.
In the sports and discipline episode, Olympic medalist Mary Kom, Paralympian Avani Lekhara, and Suhas Yathiraj shall speak about goal-setting, resilience, and stress management through discipline. On mental health, Deepika Padukone shall talk about the importance of emotional well-being and self-expression, more so in exams, as experienced by her in her journey as a mental health advocate.
Nutrition will be another key area of focus. Sonali Sabherwal, Rujuta Diwekar, and Revant Himatsingka will share tips on healthy eating habits and the role of adequate sleep in academic success. Gaurav Chaudhary (Technical Guruji) and Radhika Gupta will be discussing how technology can aid smarter learning and share insights on financial literacy in the episode on technology and finance. Bollywood actors Vikrant Massey and Bhumi Pednekar would advise students to continue being creative and optimistic when the students would learn how to harness positivity, visualize success, and release negative thoughts.
Spiritual leader Sadhguru will conduct a session on mindfulness and mental peace, teaching practical techniques to students to maintain clarity and focus during exams. To add more inspiration, toppers from competitive exams like UPSC, IIT-JEE, CLAT, CBSE, NDA, and ICSE, along with past PPC participants, will share success stories and discuss how previous editions of the programme helped them stay motivated and prepared.
It is since 2018 that the Pariksha Pe Charcha has come to be the nation’s movement to empower the students by bringing them a comfortable platform where they can interact with the Prime Minister and other key leaders. Over time, this initiative has become increasingly large in size and influence, becoming one of the crucial sources of motivation for students amid the pressures of academic life. The 2025 edition has already witnessed a whopping 3.56 crore registrations, surpassing the 2.26 crore registrations that were recorded in 2024, which only goes to prove its growing popularity and importance.
The event marks not only a milestone in promoting a positive approach towards exams but is also one such testament to the government’s commitment to students’ welfare. Such an expanded format with an illustrious panel of guests awaits Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025, in which students, parents, and educators would be provided with practical tools and inspiration to face exam season with confidence and resilience.
