In his inspiring interaction with the faculty members of Central University of Punjab (CUP), Bathinda, Shri K. Sanjay Murthy, Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, emphasized collaboration, innovation, and transformative practice in higher education. In this context, he led a discussion on how multdisciplinary research can lead toward education progress and have proper impact in society.
He spoke to the faculty, urging them actively to seek opportunities for inter- and cross-disciplinary collaboration to contribute to knowledge creation and address real-world issues. He also spoke about the vision of the government and urged the educators to focus on new-age teaching methodologies that help equip students with diverse skills, thereby enabling them to succeed in this interconnected and constantly changing global environment.
