On August 2, 2025, in New Delhi, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) officially published the Class 12 supplementary exam results. The board made the results available on its official websites, such as cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.gov.in, on August 1. Students who took the compartment exams may now see their results by their roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth. At several locations throughout India and elsewhere, the assessments were conducted on July 15. The CBSE claims that 1,38,666 students sat the Class 12 compartment tests and that 53,201 of them passed. Overall, the pass rate is 38.36%. The pass rate for female candidates was 41.35%, which was greater than the 36.79% pass rate for male candidates. The board made it clear that digital marksheets are merely provisional and that students should collect their formal papers from their schools once they are sent out. Students who failed one or more subjects in the typical board exams held earlier this year are supposed to sit the supplemental exams. Announced in May were the main results of the Class 12 board exam, which had an overall pass percentage of 88.39%. Taking the extra exam will help students improve their academic standing and carry on with their plans for higher education without missing an academic year. Still not made public are the supplemental findings for Class 10. The Class 10 tests were held between July 15 and July 22; the results should be released in the coming days. Board officials have proposed a declaration by August 2 or 3; hence, students should check official websites instead of unofficial sources. Following the statement, Class 10 candidates can access their grades by using the same login information as Class 12 pupils. To make verifying the results easier, the CBSE has also provided access through SMS, IVRS, DigiLocker, and the UMANG app. Beginning on August 6, the CBSE will provide a re-evaluation and re-checking of answer papers following the release of the results. Through the board’s website, students who believe there might be a mistake in the grading will be able to submit an application. Thousands of pupils who are unsure about their academic future are relieved by the result statement. By almost completing the supplementary results process, CBSE has reaffirmed its commitment to giving students every chance to succeed.
