45 Teachers To Receive National Awards 2025

The Department of School Education and knowledge under the Ministry of Education has blazoned the names of 45 preceptors from across India who have been named for the prestigious National preceptors’ Award 2025. The awards will be conferred at a public- position form on preceptors’ Day, 5th September, in New Delhi. Each time, the Ministry celebrates this occasion to recognize exceptional preceptors who have made significant benefactions to academy education and to admit the part preceptors play in shaping youthful minds.
According to the sanctioned statement, the selection process for the awards was conducted in a rigorous and transparent manner through an online system, carried out in three stages quarter, state, and public situations. The final selection included 45 preceptors from 27 countries, seven union homes, and six associations. Of the named preceptors, 24 are men and 21 are women, reflecting a balanced representation of preceptors from different regions and backgrounds.
The National preceptors’ Awards were introduced to celebrate the fidelity and invention of India’s preceptors. They’re given to those who, through their perseverance and commitment, have bettered the quality of academy education and amended the lives of their scholars. These awards also aim to encourage preceptors to borrow new practices, foster creativity in classrooms, and inspire the coming generation with values of responsibility, knowledge, and compassion. For 2025, the Ministry invited nominations from 23rd June to 20th July through an online platform.
The response was robust, with preceptors from across the country submitting their operations. The final 45 awardees represent the diversity and depth of India’s educational ecosystem, gauging civic and pastoral seminaries, government institutions, private seminaries, and technical associations. This time’s list of awardees is remarkable for its inclusivity. From the remote islets of Andaman and Nicobar, where Kandhan Kumaresan of Government Model elderly Secondary School Aberdeen has been named, to the comeuppance of Rajasthan, represented by Neelam Yadav of GGSSS Tapukada, the awards showcase the wide diapason of India’s tutoring community preceptors from the Northeast are also prominently featured, similar as Nang Ekthani Mounglang from Arunachal Pradesh, Debajit Ghosh from Assam, Koijam Machasana from Manipur, and Dr. Heipor Uni Bang from Meghalaya also, representation extends to lower union homes like Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, with Bhaviniben Dineshbhai Desai from GUPS Bhensroad, and Lakshadweep, where Ibrahim S of Government Junior Basic School Moola Androth has been honored.

Revathy Parameswaran from P S Senior Secondary academy has been named from the Central Board of Secondary Education( CBSE), while Madhurima Acharya of Delhi Public School Newtown has been chosen from the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations( CISCE). preceptors working with public- position institutions have also been conceded, including Tarun Kumar gusto from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Santosh Kumar Chaurasia from Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, and Dr. Pramod Kumar from Sainik School Nalanda under the Ministry of Defence.
Among the awardees are preceptors from government seminaries in countries like Bihar, where Kumari Nidhi from Primary School Suhagi and Dilip Kumar from Lalit Narayan Laxmi Narayan Project Girls High School have been honored. In Maharashtra, two preceptors — Dr. Shaikh Mohammad Waquioddin Shaikh Hamidoddin from Zilla Parishad High School Ardhapur and Dr. Sandipan Gurunath Jagdale from Dayanand College of trades, Latur — will be fete . The southern countries also feature prominently, with awardees similar as Madhusudan K S from Government Higher Primary School Hinakal in Karnataka, Kishorkumar M S from Government Vocational Advanced Secondary School Kallara in Kerala, Vijayalakshmi V from Bharathiyar Centenary Government Girls Advanced Secondary academy in Tamil Nadu, and Maram Pavithra from ZPHS Penpahad in Telangana.
The addition of preceptors from different corridor of the country illustrates the Ministry’s emphasis on feting gift irrespective of terrain. From Punjab’s Narinder Singh of Government Primary School Jandiali to Shweta Sharma of Government Middle School Vivekanand in Jharkhand, the awards cover a broad diapason of regions and communities.
