Somaiya Vidyavihar University( SVU) has inaugurated the Centre of Excellence in Polyurethane Technology( CoE- PUTech) at its Mumbai lot, marking a significant step in advancing polymer education and exploration in India. The centre has been established in collaboration with the Indian Polyurethane Association( IPUA), following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between SVU and IPUA in April 2023. 

The induction event brought together crucial academic and assiduity representatives, pressing the centre’s focus on bridging the gap between education and artificial practice in polyurethane wisdom. The event was attended by Mr. Harneet Kochar, Chairman of IPUA; Professor V. N.
