The Indira Gandhi National Open University( IGNOU) has joined hands with the Retailers Association of India( RAI) to launch a specialised MBA in Retail Management programme. This collaboration, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding( MoU), aims to address the growing demand for  professed professionals in India’s expanding retail sector by blending academic excellence with real- world assiduity exposure. 

The  recently introduced postgraduate programme builds upon the success of IGNOU and RAI’s  before  cooperation, which had launched a Bachelorette of Business Administration( BBA) in Retailing. The undergraduate course has  formerly trained thousands of  scholars across India, equipping them with foundational chops  needed in organised retail. The new MBA programme marks the coming stage of this  cooperation, targeting both  scholars and working professionals who aspire to advance their knowledge and careers in retail  operation. 

According to RAI, the MBA in Retail Management is designed to meet the changing  requirements of the retail assiduity, which continues to evolve with new technologies,  client  prospects, and sustainability  pretensions.
