CBSE Launches Free Counselling for Class 10, 12 Board Exam Students

Share

The Central Board of Secondary Education has rolled out the first phase of its periodic free sickie-social comforting program for CBSE Board Examinations 2026, aiming to support the internal and emotional well-being of Class 10 scholars, Class 12 scholars, test stress operation, and pupil internal health. The action is designed to help scholars cope with academic pressure and emotional challenges during the pivotal examination cycle. The services will remain active until June 1, 2026, covering both the pre-exam and post-exam phases.

With the CBSE proposition examinations listed to begin from February 17, 2026, the board has prompted scholars and parents to make full use of these counselling installations. The program is part of CBSE’s long-standing commitment to promoting a balanced and healthy approach to academics, recognizing that emotional stability plays a crucial part in pupil performance and overall development.

Comprehensive Support System for Scholars and Parents

The sickie-social comforting action isn’t limited to scholars alone. Parents are also encouraged to seek guidance to better understand their child’s emotional requirements and test-related anxieties. CBSE has emphasized that maternal support, when guided neatly, can significantly reduce stressful situations among scholars preparing for board examinations.

By including parents in the comforting frame, the board aims to produce a probative home terrain that complements academic medication. The focus is on fostering open communication, managing prospects, and helping families navigate the emotional challenges associated with high-stakes examinations.

24 × 7 IVRS Helpline Actuated for Immediate Assistance

As part of the action, CBSE has actuated a 24 × 7 risk-free Interactive Voice Response System helpline at 1800-11-8004. The service is available in both Hindi and English, increasing availability for a wide range of scholars and parents across the country. The IVRS helpline offers guidance on stress-free medication, time operation, managing strategies, and answers to constantly asked questions related to CBSE examinations.

The helpline also provides essential information on examination schedules, procedures, and general CBSE-related queries. This round-the-clock timepiece support system ensures that scholars can seek help whenever they feel overwhelmed, without the limitations of working hours.

Tele-Counselling Services with Trained Professionals

In addition to the IVRS helpline, CBSE has made tele-comforting services available from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm on all working days. These sessions allow scholars and parents to directly interact with a panel of 73 trained professionals. The panel includes headliners, academy counsellors, special preceptors from CBSE-combined seminaries, and good psychologists.

Out of the total counsellors, 61 are grounded in India, while 12 are located in countries similar to Nepal, Japan, Qatar, Oman, and the UAE. These professionals are offering voluntary support, reflecting a collaborative effort from the global CBSE community to ensure scholars receive timely and effective emotional guidance during the examination period.

Focus on emotional well-being and stress operation.

The comforting program is structured to address a wide range of enterprises, including test anxiety, fear of failure, lack of attention, time operation issues, and emotional torture. Counselors are trained to help scholars develop healthy managing mechanisms, build confidence, and maintain a positive mindset throughout their medication trip.

CBSE has stressed that the thing isn’t only to help scholars perform well academically but also to ensure their overall emotional well-being. By encouraging scholars to seek help when demanded, the board hopes to break the smirch around internal health and normalize exchanges about stress and emotional challenges.

Digital coffers for holistic preparation

To further support scholars, CBSE has curated a set of digital coffers on its sanctioned website focusing on stress operation, effective study strategies, and emotional heartiness. These coffers are designed to be fluently accessible and stoner-friendly, allowing scholars to learn at their own pace.

The digital content includes expert tips, relaxation methods, and practical advice on maintaining a healthy study routine. By combining comforting services with online offers, CBSE aims to give a holistic support system that addresses both academic and emotional requirements.

Encouraging a Balanced Approach to Board Exams

The board has explosively encouraged scholars and parents to laboriously use the available services rather than deal with stress in isolation. CBSE believes that early intervention and open communication can help minor enterprises from turning into major emotional challenges.

As the examination season approaches, the emphasis is on maintaining balance, staying calm, and fastening on harmonious medication rather than last-nanosecond pressure. The comforting action reflects CBSE’s broader vision of nurturing not just academically successful scholars, but also emotionally flexible individualities.

Supporting Scholars Through the Entire Examination Cycle

The comforting services will remain functional until June 1, 2026; icing support is available indeed after the examinations are over. This extended timeline acknowledges that stress doesn’t end with the last test and that scholars may need guidance while waiting for results or planning their coming academic way.

By offering nonstop support throughout the examination cycle, CBSE aims to stand by scholars during every phase of their board test trip. The action serves as a memorial that internal health is as important as academic achievement, and seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
