MTandT Rentals Raises ₹100 Cr from ValueQuest Fund II for Expansion

Share

MTandT Rentals Limited has raised Rs 100 crore from ValueQuest S.C.A.L.E. Fund II to expand its equipment rental and sales business.

The Chennai-based company provides machines used for working at height, such as boom lifts and scissor lifts, along with ground access systems. These are widely used in construction, infrastructure and industrial projects where safety and speed matter.

The fresh funds will go into adding more equipment to its fleet and expanding operations across the country. The company is looking to take on larger projects and improve turnaround time as demand grows.

Sectors like airports, renewable energy, metro rail and data centres are driving this demand. These projects need specialised equipment and trained operators, which companies like MTandT supply along with maintenance and support.

Chairman Rakesh Modi said the investment will help the company scale up its services and reach. From the investor side, Pushkar Jauhari said the segment is still underpenetrated in India, leaving room for growth as infrastructure activity picks up.

The deal was advised by Systematix Corporate Services Limited and Invicta Capserv Private Limited.
