VIT Bhopal Opens Applications for International Cybersecurity Master’s with POLIMI GSoM

With organisations worldwide facing a growing shortage of cybersecurity professionals, VIT Bhopal University is currently accepting applications for its inaugural International Master in Cybersecurity Management, a 12-month postgraduate programme developed in collaboration with POLIMI Graduate School of Management (GSoM), Milan. Built around a distinctive 6+6 India-Italy model, the programme takes students from technical foundations in India to strategic business and management learning in Italy.
Students spend their first six months at the cutting-edge VIT Bhopal campus in India building a robust technical foundation, followed by six months at the prestigious POLIMI Graduate School of Management (GSoM) in Milan, Italy, to connect technology with strategic business insights. The programme combines academic excellence, cross-cultural exposure, and industry-oriented learning to prepare graduates for careers in the rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape.
Upon successful completion of the programme, graduates will receive a Master’s Diploma from POLIMI GSoM and VIT Bhopal, alongside a 1st Level University Specialising Master’s Degree from Politecnico di Milano, recognising their specialised expertise in cybersecurity management, complemented by a curated global academic exposure.
The curriculum integrates technical expertise with business and management education. Students gain knowledge in areas including cybersecurity, cyber risk management, governance and compliance, digital innovation, cyber threat analysis, digital forensics, penetration testing, software vulnerability testing, business continuity, and strategic decision-making. The programme also includes a final internship or company project, enabling students to work on real-world business challenges and develop practical industry experience.

With Politecnico di Milano ranked 18th globally and holding Triple Crown accreditation, and VIT Bhopal bringing its strong foundation in technology education, and IT sector placements, the programme offers students an international academic experience spanning India and Europe.The programme prepares students to become Security Operations Centre Managers, Security Architects, ICT Security Specialists, and Cybersecurity Managers, among other roles.
Applications are open for the September 2026 intake until 31 August 2026.
Graduates and final-year students from Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, B.Sc. Computer Science/IT and related disciplines are eligible to apply. The programme is delivered in English, and the admission process includes online application, document verification and academic evaluation.
