Addressing the graduates, Sunil Kant Munjal, Chancellor, BML Munjal University, said: “The world is going through a period of churn, shaped by shifting geopolitics and emerging technologies such as AI. Yet with this uncertainty and change comes excitement and opportunity. At BMU, our aim has always been to prepare our students for every walk of life. We have exposed them to real-world situations and essential life skills, so that they become leaders who are ethical, aware, curious and mindful of the environment. Handling change is the ability we have always believed in teaching. I urge our graduates to equip themselves for the new roles that technology will create, and I hope they embrace change, adapt and move forward with confidence. Amidst all this, I hope they also carry with them a responsibility to the nation and to the world. We sincerely thank our graduates for trusting us with their future, and we wish them all the very best.”
Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Shyam Menon, Vice Chancellor, BML Munjal University, said, “Convocation is a milestone, but not an ending. Our graduates leave BMU carrying not only knowledge, but the values and habits of mind that will shape the choices they make. Education must prepare young people for more than a profession. It must prepare them for life, with all its uncertainty and possibility. I hope our graduates stay curious, have the courage to chart their own paths, and use their abilities to make a real difference to society. We are proud of what they have achieved, and prouder still of what they will go on to become.”
The ceremony concluded with the conferment of degrees, marking an important milestone for the graduating students as they embarked on their professional and academic journeys, carrying forward the values of innovation, responsible leadership and purpose that underpin the University’s commitment to purpose-driven growth.
