In February 2022, several teachers, including popular educators Tarun Kumar, Manish Dubey, and Sarvesh Dixit, resigned from Physics Wallah and launched their own independent YouTube channel named Sankalp.

In a series of videos, Kumar, Dubey, and Dixit accused Physics Wallah teacher Pankaj Sijairya of making false allegations of accepting bribes against them. They also claimed that their YouTube channel was subjected to strikes and their teaching content was copied without permission.

Sijairya, in turn, accused the trio of not adhering to the Physics Wallah model and creating their own platform for monetary gain. He claimed that the allegations of bribery against them were true.

The split has resulted in a war of words between the two groups, with supporters of both sides taking to social media to express their opinions. The controversy has also raised concerns about the lack of transparency and accountability in the edtech industry.
