Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will announce the AP EAMCET (or EAPCET) 2025 Phase 1 seat allotment on July 22, 2025. It is an important notification for thousands of students who have been waiting impatiently for news regarding admission into engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy courses in Andhra Pradesh colleges.
Held every year, the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) is the entry point for students seeking to pursue undergraduate programs in such disciplines. With the first phase of counselling now complete, candidates who have gone through it are now on the cusp of knowing their allocated colleges. Seat allotment is made on the basis of the candidate’s EAMCET rank, category, and web option entry window options.
The candidates can verify the seat allotment result by accessing the official counselling portal — eapcet-sche.aptonline.in. They have to go to the “Seat Allotment Result – Phase 1” page and provide their hall ticket number and date of birth. After submitting the details, the allotment status will be displayed on the screen. Students are also requested to download and take a printout of their seat allotment letter, which will be needed in the remaining admission process.
Phase 1 seat allotment has a proper time schedule, starting from the registration process which concluded on July 16, 2025. It was then followed by the document verification process on July 17. Web option entry was available from July 13 to 18, when the students were asked to enter their college and course selections. The candidates have also been provided with the option of altering or freezing their options up to July 19, and nothing was allowed after that date.
Once the seat allotment result is announced, the students alloted a seat will have to go through online self-reporting. This is done by accepting the alloted seat on the official website. Then the students will have to report physically at the alloted college during the APSCHE specified time. Not following either of these procedures may lead to the cancellation of the alloted seat.
Candidates must also carry necessary documents with them for verification at the time of admission. The documents are AP EAMCET 2025 Hall Ticket and Rank Card, Transfer Certificate (TC), intermediate marks memo or equivalent, date of birth proof (such as SSC certificate), study certificates from Class 6 to Intermediate. Other documents needed include 2025 EWS certificate, if available, residence proof of the last seven years prior to eligibility examination, domicile certificate of father/mother, income certificate from the concerned authority, and local status certificate, if available.
Entry into undergraduate courses through EAMCET is based on reservation. A reserved ratio of 85% of all seats in each course for local students belonging to the state of Andhra Pradesh and 15% for local and non-local students collectively is followed. The rationale behind this policy is to provide equal opportunity to state students in pursuing higher studies.
The counseling process for AP EAMCET is a milestone for the students who have worked hard for months to prepare for the entrance test and carefully listed out their college choices. With Phase 1 seat allotment nearing, this is the starting point of the final phase of admission for many. For those unable to get a seat during the first round or those not satisfied with the college allotted, follow-up rounds of counselling shall be conducted, giving them the second and third opportunities to improve their placement.
Within the next couple of days, APSCHE is going to release further guidelines regarding reporting schedules and deadlines for self-reporting and college joining. It is strongly advised to all the candidates to frequently check the official website so that they do not miss any important announcements. Colleges will also release further guidelines for students as and when reporting begins, including timetables for orientation and procedures for fee payment.
Overall, the announcement of the AP EAMCET 2025 Phase 1 seat allotment result is a turning point for aspiring candidates who are pursuing studies in engineering, pharmacy, and agri professionals in Andhra Pradesh. Along with deciding their short-term educational destiny, it announces the beginning of a new era of learning in their life.
