CBSE Class 12 Results Announced: 87.98% Pass, Girls Lead with Higher Scores

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the results for the Class 12 board exams on Monday, reporting an overall pass rate of 87.98%. Girls surpassed boys, with more than 91% of female students passing, compared to a lower percentage for their male counterparts by 6.40 points.
Additionally, the results highlighted high academic achievement, with over 24,000 students scoring above 95%, and more than 116,000 students surpassing the 90% mark. The number of students required to take compartment exams slightly decreased from last year, totaling around 122,000.
