FIITJEE Confirms Fee Refund For 2025 Disruptions

FIITJEE, IIT-JEE coaching institute, on Tuesday, said that it has directly informed parents of students affected by the 2025 suspension of offline classes at certain centres. The institute will start processing proportionate fee refunds beginning late June 2026, managed exclusively by the FIITJEE Corporate Office in Delhi. This approach ensures complete transparency, uniformity and accountability, with no involvement from local centres.
The communication from FIITJEE’s core leadership expresses sincere regret for the distress caused by a pre-planned external conspiracy that created a hostile environment. False narratives, including claims of centres being sold to unrelated parties, led to a force majeure-like situation that halted in-person sessions.
Despite these extraordinary circumstances, FIITJEE prioritised student progress by immediately transitioning to online classes through FIITJEE eSchool. A significant number of students participated actively, maintaining their preparation for JEE Main, JEE Advanced, board exams, Olympiads, NTSE and other competitions without interruption.
Parents will receive exact details of their refund amounts by June 15, 2026. FIITJEE has launched a dedicated email ID, active from June 16, 2026, for any parents needing clarification or follow-up if information is delayed. This mechanism reflects the institute’s core principles of truth, transparency, and commitment, as established by founder Mr. D.K. Goel in 1992.
As part of its structured revival, FIITJEE is shifting to a collaborative model with entrepreneurs for operating centres under the FIITJEE Universe framework. This includes FIITJEE Centres for core coaching programs, FIITJEE World Schools and Junior Colleges aligned with state boards and FIITJEE Global Schools following CBSE curriculum. The model avoids traditional franchise fees or royalties, focusing instead on a one-time setup contribution and a modest annual license fee to channel resources into Strategy, Innovation and Systems Management.
FIITJEE Centres operate separately from school or college entities, which are managed by not-for-profit organisations like the FIITJEE Foundation for Education Research Training (FFERT). This evolution aims to raise service standards beyond the institute’s past achievements, where it dominated JEE Main/AIEEE since inception, JEE Advanced/IIT-JEE since 1998 and produced toppers in every city and state across boards, Olympiads and more.
From launching integrated school programs in 2003 to developing eight pillars of ideal education that exceed National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 guidelines, FIITJEE has consistently advanced beyond coaching to address broader educational needs. FIITJEE 2.0 rebuilds with humility, restoring stability and focusing on unlocking the full potential of every student, including those previously considered underperformers.
