The Gujarat Secondary and Advanced Secondary Education Board (GSEB), Gandhinagar, has extended the enrollment deadline for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2026, giving applicants fresh time to complete the operation process. According to the sanctioned advertisement, campaigners can now apply for GUJCET 2026, complete the GUJCET enrollment, submit their GSEB operation form, check GUJCET eligibility, and prepare for the engineering and drugstore entrance test until January 6, 2026. The decision comes as a relief for scholars who were unfit to meet the earlier deadline due to attestation or academic commitments. 

The revised enrollment timeline allows eligible scholars to submit their online forms through the sanctioned websites, gseb.org and gujcet.gseb.org. GSE B officers have reiterated that operations submitted after the revised deadline won’t be accepted under any circumstances. The board has advised applicants to complete the enrollment well in advance to avoid last-nanosecond specialized issues and ensure successful submission. 

Extension Aims to Support Eligible Applicants 

The extension of the GUJCET 2026 enrollment deadline reflects GSEB’s trouble to ensure that no eligible seeker misses the occasion to appear for one of Gujarat’s most important entrance examinations. GSEB has also specified the minimal marks needed in the Class XII examination to be eligible for GUJCET-grounded admissions. Campaigners belonging to the general order must secure at least 45 percent marks in their qualifying examination. For campaigners from reticent orders, including SC, ST, and OBC groups, the minimal qualifying marks have been set at 40 percent. 

The board emphasized that these minimal marks are essential for consideration during the admission process and that relaxation beyond the stated criteria won’t be entertained. Aspirants are encouraged to corroborate their eligibility precisely before submitting the operation form. 

GUJCET 2026 Examination Schedule 

As per the sanctioned schedule, the GUJCET 2026 examination will be conducted on March 29, 2026. The test will be held in offline mode at designated examination centers across Gujarat.
