JEE Advanced 2023 Registration Process To Begin Today

Registration for JEE Advanced 2023, which grants admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), has commenced today at IIT Guwahati, according to Education Times.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results for JEE Main session 2 on jeemain.nta.in today.

Candidates who rank within the top 2.5 lakh in JEE Main are eligible to sit for JEE Advanced 2023, which is conducted by seven IITs, including IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee.

Candidates can also gain admission to National Institutes of Technology (NITs), centrally-funded technical institutions (CFTIs), and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) based on their JEE Main 2023 scores. The JEE Advanced 2023 exam will shortlist students for BE and BTech programmes at top engineering colleges, including IITs. To apply, candidates who rank within the top 2,50,000 in JEE Main 2023 can fill out the application form on jeeadv.ac.in.

To be eligible for JEE Advanced 2023, candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1998, with SC, ST, and PwD candidates receiving a five-year age relaxation. The deadline for JEE Advanced 2023 registration is May 7, with a payment deadline of May 8. The JEE Advanced 2023 exam is scheduled for June 4.

The organising institute, IIT Guwahati, has reserved 10% of the seats for general-EWS candidates, 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, and the remaining 40.5% for all. PwD candidates have a 5% horizontal reservation within each of these five categories.
