The eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2026 remain largely unchanged. Campaigners must have passed their Class 12 or original examination in 2024 or 2025 or be appearing in 2026. The subjects studied in the qualifying examination should include physics and mathematics as mandatory subjects along with chemistry, biology, or any specialized vocational subject as the third.
There’s no age limit for appearing in JEE Main; still, campaigners must satisfy the age conditions of the institutes they intend to apply for. Scholars can appear for the test for three successive times, and each time offers two attempts (sessions), giving campaigners an aggregate of six attempts to secure their highest possible score.
