RD National College’s 2023 Media Festival ends with an Oceanic Chai-tide finale

RD National College’s iconic Cutting Chai Media Festival, themed “Oceanic Chai-Tide,” wrapped up its 2023 edition with an overwhelming success, drawing the participation of 21 colleges across three days of creative and innovative media showcases. The festival, under the visionary leadership of Dr. Meghna Kothari, BAMMC Coordinator, once again proved to be a melting pot of talent, innovation, and camaraderie, reinforcing its position as one of the most anticipated media festivals in the region.
This year’s festival saw a dynamic range of 22 events, from investigative journalism dramas to teleprompter challenges, dance, drama, and multimedia showcases, each designed to push the boundaries of creativity and media expression. “The Oceanic Chai-Tide theme allowed participants to explore the depths of their creativity, mirroring the vast and unexplored terrains of the ocean,” stated Dr. Kothari. She further added, “The spirit of camaraderie and innovation was palpable, as emerging talents dazzled us with their creativity, setting new benchmarks for media excellence.”
The festival’s grand finale saw the “Pirates of the Caribbean” contingent clinch the championship, amidst vibrant celebrations and an outpouring of creativity and talent. As attendees bid farewell to this year’s edition, they carried with them memories of a festival that not only celebrated media arts but also fostered a strong sense of community and mutual appreciation among participants.
