Anna University has declared the registration for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) and the Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admissions (CEETA PG) 2025 closed. Candidates who have not yet registered are requested to check the official TANCET website at tancet.annauniv.edu before the end date.

TANCET 2025 is an important exam organized by Anna University on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Government. The exam will be held in March 2025 for candidates applying for admission to different postgraduate courses in the state, such as Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), and postgraduate engineering courses through CEETA PG.

TANCET MCA and MBA test will be conducted on March 22, 2025. The MCA test will be conducted between 10 AM to 12 Noon, and the MBA test in the afternoon between 2.30 PM and 4.30 PM. Conversely, the CEETA PG exam, for postgraduate engineering course admissions, will be held on March 23, 2025, and will be a single session from 10 AM to 12 Noon.

To register, applicants need to start by going to the official TANCET website, where they will be able to see the link for “New Registration.” While registering, applicants are required to give important personal information like their full name, email address, and mobile number. After registration, candidates will be given login credentials to access the application form.

Then, the candidates have to provide the application form with proper personal information. Additionally, they are required to upload the most important documents such as a current passport photo, a signature, and category certificates where necessary. The candidates should ensure they comply with the required size and format for these documents to evade any submission difficulties.

Once the application form is completed and required documents are uploaded, the applicants will be required to select their desired test center from the provided list of centers. This enables the applicants to choose the most convenient location for them.

After the application form is filled and necessary documents are uploaded, the applicants have to make the application fee online. General candidates have to pay Rs 1,000 as the application fee, while SC, SCA, and ST category applicants are entitled to a lower application fee of Rs 500. Payment can be done through multiple online modes like debit/credit cards, net banking, or other payment options available.

Before finalizing the application, candidates must thoroughly check all the details filled in the form. Discrepancies must be rectified to ensure the form is correct. After checking, candidates can submit the application form. It is better to take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

Applicants can also download the TANCET 2025 application form from the website directly if they wish. But it is necessary to complete the registration process well in advance of the closing date to ensure that there are no last-minute hassles.

TANCET 2025 is a much-awaited test for Tamil Nadu students who want to study postgraduation in courses such as computer applications, business administration, and engineering. Since the deadline for registration is nearing, all willing candidates are urged to fill their application process early.

The TANCET examination is an important step for candidates who wish to get admitted into top institutions in Tamil Nadu for higher studies. Candidates are requested to remain updated through the official website regarding any further instructions or updates as the exam dates draw near.

For more information or to apply for the exams, candidates can log on to the official TANCET website at tancet.annauniv.edu.
